The Riverdale Curling League explicitly welcomes everyone across the broad 2SLGBTQ+ spectrum—including women, trans, non-binary, and BIPOC individuals. We provide comprehensive, beginner-friendly onboarding and all the equipment you need to step onto the ice with confidence. Absolutely no gear or experience required.

Registration is right around the corner! Here is a quick breakdown of key updates, fees, and dates for the upcoming season.
Season Fees & Financial Update
Despite a 25% increase in ice costs, we have capped our fee increase at 6.4% by drawing on reserves and removing year-end prize funds (which we hope to cover via sponsorships).
- Core Team Members: $570 / person
- Alternates: $142.50 / person
- Payment Deadline: Friday, September 11 (EOD)
Registration Opens: Monday, August 17 at 6:00 PM
- Liability Waiver: You must complete your pre-season waiver before you can be rostered on a team.
- Designate one team representative to submit your roster.
Team Priority: Ranked by registration timestamp and returning core members (minimum 3 for priority).

Your team has its own password. We email it to the skip of every team. Once you are in, the site knows which team signed in: your own game is outlined on the Sunday Tracker, and the season schedule opens already filtered to your team, ready to sync to your calendar.
Sparing this season, or not on a roster? Yours is in your welcome email that is sent once we process your application. Cannot find it? Email riverdale@pridecurl.ca and we will send it again.
Skips: if you have not forwarded your team password yet, please do. Your curlers cannot see the schedule until you do.

Hi All!
As summer rolls on, your executive has been busy planning for our next curling season, and there are some things you should know:
- Details and instructions for registration will be emailed August 11th
- Registration begins August 17th
- Team confirmations begin September 1st
- Payments due September 11th
- Fees will increase but we’re working to dull the pain
As operating costs continue to rise, we know registration fees are an important concern for our members. Your Executive is actively working with the Royals Board to better understand future cost increases and identify opportunities to help keep Riverdale as affordable as possible.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll share more about the factors driving league fees, where we have flexibility, and the steps we’re taking to help manage costs over the long term. We’ll also be launching a redesigned website, and sharing more plans for next season. Please keep an eye out for our emails, and don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of any assistance.
