Riverdale is popular! Unfortunately, we can’t always fit every team or individual that wants to join. But we try hard to be as fair and open as possible. To help this process be more transparent, this dashboard shows where each team sits in the list. While teams with 3+ returning members are guaranteed a spot this year, teams with 1-2 returning members may not all fit in the 56 team slots, and this dashboard is intended to make that more visible for everyone. Note: the list below is a live view. Typos can throw things off, but we are fixing them as quickly as we can. Check back in a few hours if something looks a little off, or email riverdale@pridecurl.ca with questions any time.

Teams are sorted for registration based on the number of returning members AND completing registration forms and payment. This ranking has nothing to do with division seeding or who you will play against.

The list on the left shows all teams with 3+ completed waivers, sorted by number of returning members and then by when the 3rd waiver was submitted.

The list on the right shows any teams with only 1-2 waivers submitted, sorted alphabetically. After a 3rd waiver is in, teams will be sorted into the list on the left.

How does the Wait List work? Any team on the waitlist will be contacted by riverdale@pridecurl.ca as quickly as possible to advise status. If any existing team is unable to pay fees, teams on the waitlist will be contacted in order to offer any open spots.

If I don’t get into Riverdale, is there any way to play this year? Yes, it’s possible! Some options:

  • Join the Spare List: every year some teams need spare players when someone is away, and sometimes that turns into a permanent role as a “fifth player” or even replacement mid-season as you get to know a team
  • Join Rotators, Wednesday nights 2SLGBTQIA+ league
  • Register for a bonspiel: over a dozen queer bonspiels are held every year in North America, often more, including two in Toronto. Registration fills up quickly but is not limited existing members, and your team can come join the fun too!
