Riverdale Curlers,
In case you haven’t heard yet, there’s an upcoming opportunity for our curlers – and anyone interested in trying curling – to get some ice-time, while supporting a good cause: on April 23rd, Riverdale’s own Laurence Lui is organizingĀ Hammerfest, a curling event day fundraiser that supports the Friends for Life Bike Rally, in support of PWA. There will be concurrent events for both new and experienced curlers, and you can register individually, or as a team. There will be food, raffle items, and a 50/50 draw as well, so come ready for full day of fun on and off the ice.

Two events:
- Beginner Curler EventĀ (2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.): individual sign-up with introductory lessons and a short game (48 individual spots)
- Experienced Curler EventĀ (12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.): team sign-up with two 6-end games – one in skins format and one in regular scoring format (12 team spots)
Entry isĀ free for Riverdale Curling League membersĀ andĀ $20 for non-members.
